Peter Borbas Awarded Lifetime Achievement by NJSPLS

Members of Borbas Surveying and Mapping were on hand in Atlantic City to see owner and President, Peter Borbas, presented with the William T. Murray Lifetime Achievement Award. William T. Murray is one of the “founding fathers” of the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors. The NJSPLS presents the award to one member of the society yearly. The recipient has dedicated themselves to upholding the highest standards in the land surveying profession. This years award was presented by the NJSPLS at Harrah’s Resort and Casino during their 2024 SurvCon Expo. Nominees have made significant contributions over the years to the surveying profession in New Jersey. For over 40 years, Peter has overseen thousands of surveys. He has been very active in numerous organizations and educational institutions that engage in the preservation and advancement of the survey industry in New Jersey. (See Peter’s bio page for a full list). Peter was unable to attend the ceremony. The team at Borbas (photo below) proudly took the stage to accept the award on his behalf.
