JOHN BEATTIE RECOGNIZED AS 2023 SURVEYOR OF THE YEAR BY NJSPLS

Every year, the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors recognizes an individual who has made exemplary contributions to the society. The nominee for this award must be a licensed land surveyor in New Jersey and a current member of NJSPLS. This year, John Beattie of Borbas Surveying and Mapping was awarded the honor. John had previously served as the President of NJSPLS in 2020. He is consistently active in the NJSPLS and the advancement of the survey industry into the future. John’s contributions ensure the organization is successful as it continues to try to attract young surveyors to the industry and prepare for tomorrows challenges. Peter Borbas was in attendance and led with some remarks before presenting John with the award. Borbas Surveying and Mapping congratulates John for this well-deserved achievement. We take pride in our teams contributions to the NJSPLS and industry as a whole.
