DANNY POWER ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF SURVEYORS WORKING WEEK 2023

Danny Power of Borbas Surveying and Mapping was able to represent BSM at the FIG Working Week 2023. FIG (Federation Internationale des Geometres) is the International Federation of Surveyors. The 2023 session in Orlando, Florida ran from May 28-June 1. The conference is the years largest gathering of geospatial professionals with some 2,000 surveying experts attending from around the world.

Danny was able to attend the conference upon receiving a grant from the NJSPLS. While at the conference, Danny met surveyors from around the world. He attended technical sessions and workshops showcasing worldwide technology and innovation. A trade exhibition was held as well as a variety of side events and social functions.

85 countries were represented at the conference. Danny was able to meet surveyors both young and old from places like Senegal, Romania and Ireland as well as all over the United States.
